Competitions & Awards

The competition in DEA OPEN AIR International Film Festival will be followed up by some juries:

1. The feature film jury
2. The short & student film jury
3. Media jury

These juries will accord some DEA awards based on the festival nomination. 

The feature film jury

1. DEA for the best Film (Feature Film Competition)
2. DEA for the best director (Feature Film Competition)
3. DEA for the best script (Feature Film Competition)
4. DEA for the best camera (photography) (Feature Film Competition)
5. DEA for the best actor/ best actress (Feature Film Competition)

The short & student film jury

1. DEA for the Best Film (Short Film Competition)
2. DEA for the Best Film(Student Film Competition)

Media Jury

1. The Media Award (Special Prize) (Short Film Competition)
2. The Media Award (Special Prize) (Feature Film Competition)

The festival founders also accord: 

1. DEA – Gratitude Award  (Lifetime Achievement Award)
2. DEA Homage (Commemorative Award)

The Municipality of Tirana also gives the Public Award of Tirana based on the evaluation of the capital spectators.
