After thirteen years of unruly life in Lisbon, Hugo, a jazz double bassist, decides to take a “sabbatical year” and return to Porto, where he hopes to find balance with his family. However, on one of the first nights he attends a concert by Luís Stockman – a pianist recently made famous – and the longed-for peace turns into the worst of nightmares: Stockman plays an unreleased song that Hugo knows all too well because it’s the same one he’s been writing in his head for years.

The cinema is trying to overcome a serious crisis …
This time a global crisis …
This is not the first cinema crisis …
It is not even its first global crisis …

But in contrast to its previous crises – outside it or partially inside it, this
crisis threatened and still threatens the motive of the existence of cinema
in modern times …,
the desire to consume the film together…
